Website and maintenance: €39 per month, regardless of the number of orders, plus a one-time setup from €449.
Maintenance includes hosting, changes by voice message, promotions, reports and support for the payment system. Prices net plus VAT. Not part of the fees per order, but already deducted from the savings above.
On an order of €14.00 you pay €0.63 in fees with us, and €1.82 commission with Lieferando.
Online ordering for restaurants: what delivery platforms cost and what your own website costs
Delivery platforms such as Lieferando charge a commission on every order. According to press reports, it is around 13 to 14 % of the order value if you deliver yourself, and up to 30 % with the platform's drivers. With 150 orders of €14 a month and 13 %, that comes to roughly €270 in commission in the example above.
Your own website with online ordering works differently. Per order, you only pay for payment processing via Stripe (1.5 % + €0.25) and a platform fee of 1 % plus VAT. On top of that there is a fixed monthly amount for the website and its maintenance, which does not grow with the number of orders. The more guests order online, the bigger the difference becomes.
You also stay in control: orders reach you directly, the money goes straight to your own Stripe account, and your regular customers' order data stays with you rather than with a platform. Customers who agree can hear about promotions and new dishes directly from you. A delivery platform can still make sense for reaching new guests. Many businesses use both and bring their regulars to their own site.
