I rework existing websites for self-employed people, small businesses, practices and service providers: structure, design, mobile display, load time and technical discoverability. At a fixed price of €690 or for rent at €69/month.
Once texts and images are ready, the modernized website is usually online within 3 to 7 days.
How to tell that your website is outdated.
An old website rarely stands out through one single flaw. Usually it is several small things that together cost you inquiries.
- On a smartphone you have to zoom or scroll sideways to read anything.
- The site takes noticeably long to load.
- Visitors don't find your services or the way to contact you straight away.
- The site looks like an old site-builder template and no longer matches your business.
- Hardly any inquiries come in through the website, or none at all.
None of these points is a reason to worry on its own. If several apply, a closer look is worthwhile. You get that from me without obligation.
What happens in a redesign.
You don't have to start from zero. What your website already says remains the basis – how it says it becomes new.
Your content stays
I take texts, images and service descriptions from the existing website. They are reorganized and prioritized. New copy comes from you or is approved by you.
Structure
Pages and sections are arranged so that visitors quickly find what they are looking for and the path to an inquiry is short.
Design
Fonts, colours and imagery are brought up to date – starting from what your business already has, such as its logo and brand colours.
Mobile display
The website is built responsively and works on all common screen sizes. On a smartphone it can be read and used without zooming.
Load time
Images are cropped to fit and compressed, unnecessary weight is removed. Short load times are part of the build from the start.
Technical discoverability
A well-thought-out page structure, complete meta information and the technical groundwork so that Google and AI-powered search can reliably pick up your content.
Not every website can sensibly be modernized. If the technical basis is outdated or what you offer has changed fundamentally, a new build is the better way – at the same fixed price. Both options and their prices are on the pricing page.

How a redesign works.
I work fully remotely with clients across Germany and am based in Karlsruhe. Your current website stays online until the new one is ready.
A look at your website
You send me the address. I look at your current site and tell you specifically where I see potential and whether a redesign is enough.
A draft with your content
A concrete draft shows early on how the new site could look and feel – before everything is finally built.
Coordination
You tell me what should be different. Existing information is organized, and you supply any content that is still missing.
Move and launch
Your existing domain stays. The new website replaces the old one, and the previous addresses of the subpages are redirected to the new ones so that existing Google rankings are not lost.

What does a relaunch cost?
€690 one-time for development and launch, up to 5 pages – the same fixed price as for a new website. Ongoing maintenance is optional: €39/month without hosting or €49/month including hosting, domain and SSL. Alternatively you rent the modernized website for €69/month with no setup cost. Will my texts and images be kept?
Yes. Your content stays; structure, design and mobile display are reworked. If individual texts or images are out of date, you supply new ones – creating texts and image material is not part of the fixed price.
Will I lose my Google ranking?
To prevent that, your domain stays the same and the previous addresses of the subpages are redirected to the new ones. That way Google and your visitors still end up in the right place. Nobody can promise a specific position, but the technical groundwork for it is part of the build.
Do I have to change my hosting provider?
No. If you already have hosting and a domain, you simply stay there when you buy. If you would rather not look after that yourself any more, I take over hosting, domain and SSL through maintenance at €49/month or in the rental model.
How long does a website redesign take?
Exact timing always depends on the individual case, above all on how quickly texts and images are available. If all content is there and feedback rounds move quickly, a modernized website is usually online within a week (3 to 7 days).
Does this also work for a site-builder website?
Yes. I take your content from the site-builder page, and the website itself is then built anew. That changes nothing about the price: a new build and a modernization cost the same.
Redesign or new build – which makes more sense?
That depends on the technical state and the content of your current website. If the structure still holds up and the content is essentially current, a redesign is usually enough. Which way fits can often be judged after a brief look at the existing website.
Can I also rent the modernized website?
Yes. The rental model at €69/month applies to a modernization just as it does to a new website, including hosting, domain, SSL, an e-mail address and maintenance. What it covers is described on the rent a website page.
